Successful launch of the two new tram lines T3 and T4 by RATP Dev in Casablanca

Continuing the trust-based partnership between the transport authority Casa Transports and RATP Dev, which began with the launch of the tram lines T1 in 2012 and T2 in 2019 and over a decade on, the two new tram lines T3 and T4 have successfully entered service. Adding to the transport services offered by RATP Dev Casablanca, these two new lines are perfectly integrated into the city’s public transit network.

RATP Dev wins the contract to manage the Twisto mobility network in Caen la mer

The Twisto mobility network in Caen la mer serves a population of roughly 275,000 residents spread out across 48 municipalities. It includes three tram lines, 72 bus routes, transport services for people with reduced mobility, and transport-on-demand, as well as a bicycle rental service, car-sharing, bicycle parks, and park-and-ride (P+R) facilities.

RATP Group is awarded the operation of the metro, funicular and tramway network in France's second-largest city

Following the vote of the SYTRAL Mobilités Board on March 28, the transport authority confirms the awarding to RATP Dev of the contract to operate TCL’s ‘heavy modes’. This contract includes:

  • Four metro lines, of which two are automated, 102 metro trains and 44 stations along 70 km of tracks, carrying 50% of the network’s daily ridership;

  • Seven tramway lines, 107 tramways, and 128 stations along 71 km of tracks;

Successful launch of CasaBusway, the two new Bus Rapid Transit lines of Casablanca

This renewed confidence bears testament to the long-standing partnership between Casa Transport and RATP Dev.  That momentum began with the launch of two tramway lines T1 in 2012 and T2 2019, and continues, more than 10 years later, with the launch of the CasaBusway, integrated seamlessly into the existing public transit service. An innovative mobility solution designed to meet the growing needs for urban mobility in the Kingdom of Morocco's largest city, with a population of over three million.

RATP Dev confirmed in Casablanca to run the tramway network and continue expanding into a major multi-modal network

RATP Dev has again retained the trust of Casa Transports, the transport authority in Casablanca, to
operate, maintain and develop the tramway network for the Casablanca conurbation. The renewed
contract is for twelve years and begins on 13 December 2017.
